I know I haven't put anything in a while.... I've let life take over my time (for now). I'll come back soon with the awareness topic but today I wanted to post a poem I ran across in a Good Housekeeping magazine when I was in middle school (we are talking 1982 or 27 years ago) and for some strange reason, it's stuck to my head since then. The funny thing is that back then I really didn't understand it but a few days ago, while showering, it came to my mind with it's clear original meaning. Here it is for you:

There is something about perfection
That leaves the soul unfed
It yearns for a further promise
Some glory yet ahead

Had Eve been perfectly happy
In Eden's sumptuous place
The slithering apple vendor
Could never had made a sale.
